Cee is a Singer, Songwriter, Drummer, Multi Instrumentalist, DJ, Music Producer, Hit Maker and Internet Celebrity. While much has rightfully been said about his work, Cee also deserves praise as a soulful, versatile music artist. All of his work has been recorded with Cee doing vocals, harmonies and playing all the instruments, yet sounding like an elastic live band in the process. He also has enjoyed numerous educational experiences with many artists worldwide such as Fergie, Jennifer Batten, Billy Sheehan, Yngwie Malmsteen, White Lion, Poison, Guns N’ Roses, Iron Maiden, Falco and many more!
Cee was born on Februar 3, 1969 in Vienna City, Europe. Growing up in Europe, Cee has been writing songs and melodies since he was a teenager. Still in his babyshoes he already started to listen to the gentle sound of the 70’s. Daily he’s parents would turn on the radio and bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Chicago came on. Eventually his aunt showed him some magazines including lots of pictures by many english rockstars like The Monkees, The Who, The Rolling Stones or The Beatles and so it were ultimately The Beatles and their funny Movies such as A Hard Days Night and Help! which fully captured his interest in music. In 1979 Cee’s little world turned upside down when he came across a german magazine called BRAVO showing four creatures on the cover wearing make-up.
Now there was no longer a holding back and he instantly fell in love with those fearsome foursome. There was not a day passing by that Cee wasn’t daydreaming about being a rockstar and instead of paying close attention to school, he rather prefered to do drawings of Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. He really was waiting patiently for them to come alive and rock out the classroom! In the 80s, MTV, Headbanger’s Ball, Sunset Strip, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi and Europe took over the world. At this time it was all about the looks, bigger hair, wild guitars and smashing drums. In 1984 Cee met a boy with big hair who told him about a small recording studio that his father set up at his parents house. Quickly the first actual contact with real instruments were made. Day by day they spend all their time at the small recording studio and so the first band plans were made. It didn’t take too long before they put their plan to action and build their beautiful first rehearsal room. After that, everything went like a breeze and it was not long until the first projects, concerts and other musical highlights started Cee’s musical career.
He started writing songs and playing heavy and pop music in many different projects. It wasn’t until he got introduced by a former bandmate into the American Music Institute College in Vienna, Austria that he really started to take music more seriously. Although he originally played mainly rock beats, he also took an interest in Jazz. It was at that time that Cee met many different fellow drummers such as Steve Smith, Gregg Bissonette, Mark Schulman, Walfredo Reyes Jun., Deen Castronovo and many more!
In late December, 2004 Cee moved to Los Angeles, CA. This is where his career really started to take off. Cee met and did sessionwork for some great artists in the industry such as Fergie, Dixie Chicks, Dizzy Reid, Happening Harry, Rowan Robertson, C.C De Ville, Billy Sheehan, Richie Kotzen, George Lynch, Neil Schon, Yngwie Malmsteen and many more! Besides Studiowork he did a lot of cool and fun nights as a Drummer at The Joint, West Hollywood, Whiskey A Go Go and the very famous Catclub which was owned by Straycats Drummer Slim Jim Phantom.
Cee’s career has definitely been a success this far. It doesn’t stop there either, Cee continues to perform and learn as he moves ahead as an artist and producer. He is a constantly growing multitasking music talent in the scene. In addition to jamming and recording with some people worldwide, he just started to work on a couple of very 80’s influenced songs for a couple of great artists to perform. Cee’s constantly working on new songs as he sees himself more as a painter and artist than a musician while he assembles simultaneously note by note.
